Simple rustic chic was the vibe for Kristie and Pete’s August wedding at Harrington Farm. It was an absolutely spectacular day with clear skies and warm temps… no late summer humidity this day. And these two lovebirds were as sweet as the summer air. Deeply in love, and gazing at each other all day long, they were married in front of their friends and family under a canopy of greens and whites and the lush gardens of Harrington. A dear friend of theirs performed the ceremony, and he spoke of the meaning of love and marriage across different times and cultures, and the common thread of love that unites us. And what a love Kristie and Pete have… After the ceremony, there were lawn games and cocktails under the tent, followed by a beautiful late afternoon party in the main house. Kristie brought the fresh summer rustic feel from outside right into her reception with fresh greens & white flowers and soft candle light with wood accents. Just lovely! The fun band played great tunes and everybody danced and celebrated. We capped the day off with a sunset stroll around the grounds so Kristie and Pete could have a moment to themselves on this beautiful day and just enjoy being husband and wife for the first time! All in all, a perfect day!!
Special thanks to my fabulous assistant, Meg, who brought all the equipment she’d need to shoot the enormous full moon that was to rise right after the wedding ended. She drove all over the area looking for a perfect hillside from which to shoot the moon-rise. That girl is dedicated.
